The Onyx NY-W702 winter tire is installed on SUVs, pickups, and crossovers. It is distinguished by improved traction on any slippery surface, precision handling, quiet and smooth ride, high mileage, and fuel efficiency.
The tread pattern is designed in an asymmetrical design with a large number of individually standing blocks. The elements are arranged in groups, which creates elongated transverse edges of a large area in the contact patch. This allows for extremely effective transmission of traction and braking forces to the road surface, especially when driving on snow. The intensity of longitudinal accelerations remains just as high on icy surfaces. The tread is dotted with hundreds of straight and wavy lamellas, forming numerous sharp edges that the tire grips onto any slippery surface.
