The Omsk O-128 truck tire is favorably distinguished by its universality. Moreover, this term should be understood in a fairly broad sense, since this model can be installed on any axle of trucks and buses, as well as used throughout the year, i.e. both in summer and winter. At the same time, it is impossible not to note the very attractive cost of this tire, which makes it one of the leaders in its segment in terms of price and quality.
Productive tread pattern
Most of the advantages mentioned above are provided due to the features of the tread pattern design. It consists of five longitudinal ribs, each of which is formed by a series of massive blocks of complex polygonal shape installed in a row. During movement, each of them provides a contact patch with a large number of differently directed edges of adhesion, which gives the tire confident behavior even in the most unfavorable road conditions.
Reduced rolling resistance
In contrast to the shoulder areas, the blocks of the central part of the tread are located at a minimum distance from each other. In essence, the drainage grooves separating them are lamellas that, when in contact with the road surface, limit the longitudinal mobility of the blocks. As a result, the tire demonstrates very low rolling resistance. In addition, such a design has a positive effect on directional stability and handling, if the tire is installed on the steering axle of a truck.
