Description Novion SW699
The Novion SW699 tire is designed for ATVs used on rugged terrain, including forest trails, dirt roads, sandy sections, and moderate off-road conditions. According to the manufacturer's information, the model is focused on active "off-road" operation, where stable traction, predictable handling, and stability when moving on uneven surfaces are important.
Structural features
The tread is made in a combined scheme. In the central part, massive rectangular blocks are used, forming a stable contact patch and providing confident transmission of traction when moving in a straight line. On the edges of the tread, the blocks are arranged in a checkerboard pattern, which improves grip when maneuvering, turning, and lateral loading, as well as increases the stability of the ATV on uneven surfaces. Such a configuration promotes effective self-cleaning from dirt and sand. The inter-block channels of sufficient width allow for quick removal of contaminants from the contact zone, keeping the working edges open even when moving on wet and loose soil. Unlike other ATV models, this tire places greater emphasis on passability and control on sandy and dry earth surfaces.
The design is reinforced with a focus on operation in harsh conditions. A sturdy carcass and reinforced sidewalls increase resistance to punctures and cuts when in contact with stones, roots, and sharp ground edges. This also allows for the use of reduced pressure to improve traction without the risk of critical tire deformation. The rubber compound is adapted to work in a humid environment and maintains elasticity with temperature changes.
Key features of Novion SW699:
- central rectangular blocks provide stable traction and control;
- "checkerboard" arrangement of shoulder blocks improves stability in turns;
- significant voids between tread blocks contribute to effective self-cleaning;
- reinforced carcass design increases reliability off-road.
