Specifications
DescriptionDescription Nokian Outpost AT 275/55 R20 113T
The summer tire Nokian Outpost AT is designed for SUVs, pickups, and crossovers. A versatile model in application, effective both on highways and on any dirt roads. It is characterized by the reliability of traction properties, softness of travel on irregularities, and a long service life in the most difficult operating conditions.
Reliability off-road
This model is one of the lightest in its class, offering a high level of reliability when used off-road. This is largely due to the use of "aramid shield" technology in the tire design. Lightweight and tear-resistant synthetic fibers contained directly under the tread and in the sidewalls of the tire minimize the risk of punctures and cuts, allowing you to move confidently on hard rocky roads. It is worth noting the presence of special protrusions in the drainage grooves. They prevent small stones and soil particles from getting stuck in the tread, which also increases the reliability of the tire off-road.
Passability on soft soils
The presence of aramid fibers in the tread allows the tire to be used at a reduced pressure inside. Specifically for such conditions, the developers have provided a special design of the shoulder areas and sidewalls. At the edges of the tread, the blocks have a complex polygonal shape and a "continuation" in the form of special recesses on the sidewall of the tire. The differently directed elongated edges formed by them increase the traction and adhesion properties on soft soil surfaces. In such conditions, effectiveness is also provided by X-shaped grooves. Their differently directed walls increase the reliability of traction properties, especially on slippery wet soil.
