The Nokian ILine summer tire is designed for compact and medium-sized passenger cars. The tread pattern is designed in an asymmetric design. The enlarged shoulder areas improve stability when maneuvering, reduce uneven wear. At the same time, the inner side is characterized by a large number of water-dispelling elements, which reduces the risk of aquaplaning. Here it is worth noting the polished surface of the longitudinal drainage grooves. This further increases the resistance to hydroplaning, as well as the "venturi" shape of the elements in the shoulder areas. The solid rib in the middle increases the accuracy of handling and reduces rolling resistance. The tread is made of a rubber compound based on silicon dioxide with pine oil in the composition. This combination significantly improves grip on wet surfaces and reduces heat generation during prolonged high-speed driving.
