The winter non-studded tire Nokian Hakkapeliitta CR Cargo was specially created by the engineers of the Finnish tire giant for small-tonnage commercial vehicles - minivans, light trucks, and vans. This model is produced in only 7, but at the same time, the most common sizes, starting from 225/70R15 and ending with 235/65R16, which provides this tire with excellent applicability to a very wide range of commercial vehicles.
This tire, like other representatives of the Hakkapeliitta model line, is equipped with a V-shaped symmetrical directional tread pattern. This design is widely used in the creation of winter tires, as it has a number of important advantages. In particular, the V-shaped design is beneficially distinguished by a very even distribution of load on the tire's contact patch. Due to this, stable and reliable traction is ensured, the contact patch area is increased, and the tire's strength characteristics are improved. In addition, the V-shaped tread pattern of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta CR Cargo provides the best acceleration and deceleration efficiency, especially on slippery surfaces, due to the numerous engagement edges formed by the massive tread blocks. Another distinctive feature of this tire is the presence of a rigid longitudinal rib in the center of the tread, which ensures excellent directional stability on any type of road surface.
It is also worth noting the excellent efficiency of the tire's drainage system, which not only effectively removes water from the contact patch but also provides excellent self-cleaning of the tread from snow and dirt.
