These properties are largely preserved on wet roads, thanks to the presence of voluminous drainage grooves and their oval profile, which further increases the water removal intensity from the contact patch.
Reinforced breaker
On top of the two-layer carcass, Finnish tire manufacturers have placed a breaker, which is a steel cord. The use of a special winding method and reducing the thread cross-section has allowed increasing the stiffness of the structure while reducing its weight. As a result, this solution provides reliability, particularly in difficult operating conditions, and at the same time improves handling, resistance to wear, and fuel efficiency.
Road condition-adaptive compound
The tread is made of a Hybrid rubber compound, which has proven itself well in other models of the Finnish brand. Specifically for this tire, its composition was changed taking into account the features of commercial vehicles. However, the "signature" feature of this compound has been fully preserved. As before, it can change its elasticity depending on the temperature of the road surface.
