Like its predecessors, the summer tire Nokian Hakka Black 3 is designed for sports versions of passenger cars. It is characterized by reliable coupling properties at high speeds, stability in turns, efficient braking on wet surfaces, along with acoustic comfort and fuel efficiency.
The tire was one of the first models to be created using the Dynamic Grip technology of the third iteration. It includes optimization of the tread pattern, which extremely evenly distributes pressure on the road surface, as well as the Adaptive Control rubber compound. As a result, it provides stable and very stable coupling in any driving mode, along with fast and accurate reactions of the tire to the driver's actions. A feature is also the design of the shoulder areas, composed of large blocks without any grooves. Such elements improve control over the trajectory of the vehicle's movement in turns, preventing rapid wear of the tread. The elongated transverse edges of the shoulder blocks increase traction and braking properties, especially on wet surfaces. The next difference of the tire is the use of MultiZone technology. It includes an optimized shape of blocks at the edges and the location of tread pattern elements with a certain step relative to each other. This prevents the occurrence of resonant noises and vibrations, which has a positive effect on acoustic comfort, primarily on worn road surfaces. This solution provides a more even wear of the tread. Like previous models, the tire demonstrates stable coupling on wet surfaces. To a large extent, this is due to the presence of Lightning Flow grooves in the central part. They extremely quickly absorb water from the road surface, directing it to the nearest longitudinal groove.
