Description Nexen Roadian 571
The Nexen Roadian 571 summer tire was specifically designed for SUVs and crossovers that primarily drive on asphalt roads. At the same time, this model is intended for full-size representatives of this category of vehicles, since its size range is represented by 4 types of tires for wheels with a landing diameter of 17 and 18 inches.
Excellent Highway Performance
Since the tire is designed for operation on roads with a solid surface, there is no place in its tread pattern for massive blocks and powerful off-road tires that allow you to confidently overcome rough terrain. The maximum that this tire is capable of is excellent traction on various asphalt surfaces, regardless of weather conditions.
The tread pattern consists of a central part, where there are three longitudinal ribs, and two shoulder zones. At the same time, the central part of the Nexen Roadian 571 is represented by three rows of blocks of a square shape, the transverse edges of which are located at a significant angle to the direction of movement. This made it possible to maximize the traction characteristics, especially on slippery types of coverage.
The shoulder zones of the tread also consist of individual blocks of a square shape, the edges of which are located almost perpendicular to the direction of movement. This, in turn, led to a significant increase in braking efficiency. In addition, the shoulder zones of the tread are distinguished by a reinforced design, which made it possible to significantly improve stability when performing sharp maneuvers.
Main Features of Nexen Roadian 571
- excellent resistance to aquaplaning due to efficient drainage, provided by four longitudinal grooves in the central part of the tread;
- a large area of the shoulder zones of the tread improves handling characteristics;
- a 5-step scheme for placing tread elements minimizes the risk of resonance noise and vibration;
- high braking efficiency due to the perpendicular arrangement of tread blocks in the shoulder zones;
- a rubber compound with a high silica content provides more reliable traction with slippery surfaces, while improving the resistance of the tread to abrasive wear.
