The Nankang Ice2 winter tire is designed for SUVs and crossovers. It belongs to the so-called "friction" models, differing in high efficiency on any snowy and icy roads.
The tread pattern is characterized by the presence of a large number of small blocks. The multidirectional edges created by them provide high traction and braking effort, as well as directional stability on snowy surfaces. Each block has several wavy lamellas. Narrow slits maintain high acceleration and deceleration intensity on packed snow and ice. In adverse weather conditions, the effectiveness of the tread is supported by the multitude and V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves, which intensively divert even heavy water and snow mixture from the contact patch.
