The winter passenger tire suits most popular passenger cars. The model is offered in several dozen sizes for wheels with a diameter of 14 to 21 inches. In motion, it is characterized by improved traction on snow and icy surfaces, ease of handling, and acoustic comfort.
The tread pattern is distinguished by the "advanced" lamellization technology. Here, several types of grooves are applied. The intersecting grooves in the shoulder areas improve traction on compacted snow. The saw-toothed edges of the grooves increase the traction force and braking intensity on icy and wet surfaces. In turn, the rectangular "three-dimensional" lamellae on the edges of the tread increase the directional stability and accuracy of handling on slippery surfaces, forming additional traction edges at the same time. The tread pattern with a V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves and a solid arrow-shaped rib in the middle provides stability and accuracy of handling at high speeds, reduces rolling resistance, and wear.
