They are arranged in a chessboard pattern, allowing the tire to demonstrate balanced handling regardless of the driving mode and road surface characteristics. Also, it's worth noting the significant height of the blocks, which has significantly improved longitudinal and lateral traction on both rocky and unstable soil and sandy surfaces.

At the same time, a significant part of the blocks is located almost on the sidewalls of the tire. Thanks to this feature, the Mitas XT994 demonstrates excellent traction even at significant motorcycle lean angles.

Possibility of Operation on Public Roads and in Winter

It's also worth noting the possibility of operation on public roads, as evidenced by the presence of certificates confirming the compliance of this model with DOT and E75 requirements. Another feature of this tire is the possibility of operation in winter. The manufacturer offers two additional modifications of this model for these purposes - Winter Friction with places for installing spikes and Spike, which differs in the presence of studding.
