Description Mitas XT-434
The Mitas XT-434 motorcycle tire is designed for installation on the front wheel of a motocross motorcycle, operated, according to the representatives of the Czech manufacturer, "in very heavy conditions". In addition, it is impossible not to notice the presence of three variants of this model. In addition to the standard version, Winter Friction and Spike modifications are offered. The differences between them lie not only in the composition of the rubber mixture, which differs in elasticity, but also in the presence of spikes or places for their installation.
Excellent directional stability
One of the distinctive features of this model is the tread pattern. It consists of several functional zones that provide it with maximum performance in any conditions. At the same time, their structure differs significantly due to the tasks that they have to solve during operation.
In particular, the central part of the Mitas XT-434 tread pattern contains two rows of trapezoidal blocks arranged in a checkerboard pattern. This layout has made it possible to ensure an even distribution of external weight on the ground, which has had a very favorable effect on a number of the tire's operating characteristics. First of all, these are predictable reactions to steering and throttle control.
In addition, the presence of a large number of traction edges in this part of the tread pattern, formed by numerous blocks, allows the tire to maintain directional stability at any speed, as well as a short braking distance on any type of road surface.
Increased traction when making sharp maneuvers
Along with the central part, another functional zone of the tread pattern is the two shoulder zones. They also contain a row of high trapezoidal blocks. These tread elements begin to demonstrate maximum efficiency when making sharp maneuvers, providing additional traction at significant motorcycle lean angles, or simply pulling out of a muddy or sandy trap.
Main features of the Mitas XT-434 tire
- the possibility of operation in winter, thanks to the presence of two additional modifications - Winter Friction (with spikes) and Spike (with spike seats);
- excellent directional stability due to the reduced width of the tread pattern and the multitude of individual blocks in its central part, arranged in a checkerboard pattern;
- the shoulder zones, due to the high content of individual blocks of massive size and great height, provide the tire with excellent stability when changing direction;
- short braking distance due to the high content of transverse traction edges in the central part of the tread.
