Description Mitas TD-13
The Mitas TD-13 industrial tire is installed on the driving axles of tractor equipment used in agriculture, municipal and construction industries. The manufacturer recommends its use on loose earth and sandy ground surfaces. In such conditions, it demonstrates high traction force and reduced surface pressure.
The tread pattern is designed in a "classic" style for such tires, with narrow and long ground-gripping elements. The edges formed by these elements increase the traction force. At the same time, the increased empty space between the elements allows it to be preserved on viscous ground surfaces. The "chessboard" arrangement of the blocks reduces rolling resistance and provides even pressure in the contact patch. The sharp-angled profile of the ground-gripping elements in the shoulder areas prevents lateral slipping and reduces the risk of equipment tipping.
Main features:
- high traction force on loose soils due to the large length and concavity of the transverse gripping edges;
- "chessboard" arrangement of ground-gripping elements reduces rolling resistance and ensures even surface pressure;
- sharp-angled profile of elements in the shoulder areas increases transverse stability.
