Description Mitas SW-12
The Mitas SW-12 motorcycle tire is designed for bikes used in speedway competitions. It is installed on the front wheel. It is characterized by increased stability of grip at high speeds, precision handling on flat, hard ground surfaces, and resistance to damage.
The tread pattern consists of a large number of small blocks. In the central part, they are arranged in groups of several elements, forming elongated transverse edges that increase the intensity of braking. In turn, the edges of the tread have a "checkered" arrangement of blocks, which provides more stable grip when maneuvering. Significant voids between the elements allow the tread to intensively self-clean from soil particles, maintaining reliable handling. A feature of the tire is the use of an optimized rubber compound. It has solid resistance to abrasive wear, the formation of cracks and tears under the influence of extremely high loads.
