Description Mitas SportForce
The Mitas Sport Force motorcycle tire is one of the flagships of the model range of the well-known Czech manufacturer. This can be judged by the technologies used in its design. Many of them were previously used exclusively in motorsports, which once again confirms the high performance of this model, designed for sports bikes.
Optimized drainage groove design
The tread pattern of the Mitas Sport Force contains a large number of drainage grooves. These elements differ in shape and location, specially selected not only to provide maximum resistance to aquaplaning. They have a significant length, being located at a sharp angle relative to the direction. In combination with the complex polygonal shape of their side walls, this allows the tire to extremely effectively resist overheating, dissipating a significant amount of heat into the surrounding space. The same design features allow the drainage grooves to perfectly handle water evacuation from the contact patch, providing the tire with good stability in rainy weather.
Rigid carcass
Another innovation of this model is the SCT technology. Behind this abbreviation (Strong Carcass Technology) lies a carcass design, the cord of which is wound in such a way that it does not have any seams or joints. As a result, the tire perfectly retains its original shape even under the strongest influence of multidirectional acceleration forces, providing fast and accurate responses to the biker's actions. Another advantage of this technology is the improved resistance to uneven wear.
Main features of the Mitas Sport Force motorcycle tire
- optimized location and shape of drainage grooves provide not only high resistance to aquaplaning, but also reduce the level of heating when moving at high speed;
- a rigid carcass improves handling and stability when cornering, giving the tire's reactions speed and accuracy;
- stable traction properties in any conditions due to the use of computer simulation technologies in development.
