To achieve this, a new carcass structure and a massive tread design were used.

Massive tread blocks

The tread consists of massive blocks with sufficiently sharp edges. As a result, increased passability and stability on any road surface have been achieved. The unusual arrangement of the blocks allowed increasing the contact patch when the tire is in any position. The large distances Mitas EF-05 between the blocks minimize the penetration of stones into the tread and improve self-cleaning. The shoulder area contains blocks arranged at a special angle, which provides increased stability during any maneuvers.

New components in the rubber compound

The use of new components in the rubber compound has improved the tread's performance. The application of new silica has provided excellent elasticity of the rubber. As a result, the traction on a wet road surface has become much better, and the recovery properties of the tread have accelerated. To improve wear-resistant properties, silicon was used, resulting in the tire having an increased mileage during operation in any conditions.
