The Michelin XZY3 is a universal truck tire model used in combined conditions on semi-trailers and trailers. The tire reduces operating costs and has the possibility of being used on the steering axle. It is distinguished by an increased service life of 25% more than previous models, due to the use of a deeper tread pattern and certain additives in the rubber mixture.

A specially designed tread, taking into account possible operating conditions, has excellent operational characteristics. Optimally located blocks and distances between them made it possible to achieve excellent self-cleaning and increased passability. Two rows of blocks located in the center of the tread provide excellent directional stability and passability.

Massive blocks in the shoulder area protect the tire from damage and increase reliability. The tread width has been increased by 5%, the contact area with the road surface by 2%, and the pattern has become 4% deeper, all of which was done to increase the service life.

A specially developed new rubber compound provides excellent protection against damage and gives the Michelin XZY3 tire increased traction properties. Throughout the entire service life, due to special notches in the shoulder area and along the edges of the ribs, the tire has increased traction on dirt and mud. The tire has a design consisting of four steel belts, which increase its reliability.
