Description Michelin XZA
The commercial tire Michelin XZA is distinguished by its versatility in application, thanks to the possibility of installation on any axis of high-capacity trucks. It is characterized by stability at high speed, pronounced fuel-saving properties, and a long service life.
The tread pattern contains about 7,000 lamellas located on the side walls of the drainage grooves. They increase the effectiveness of braking on wet pavement and reduce the risk of aquaplaning. The tread is made of a compound resistant to abrasive wear and heating. This significantly reduces fuel consumption and increases tire mileage. The carcass is made using Infini-Coil technology and contains about ? miles of steel fibers. The 5-layer cord provides stability of shape and size of the contact patch, which improves traction and reduces wear.
Key Features of Michelin XZA
- seven thousand lamellas on the groove walls improve traction on wet pavement;
- a rubber compound with increased resistance to wear and heat reduces fuel consumption, increases tire mileage;
- a 5-layer steel cord improves traction, reduces rolling resistance and wear.
