Description Michelin XTE2 Retread
The Michelin XTE2 Retread commercial tire is designed for heavy-duty trucks. It is installed on the trailer axle. It is made from previously used tires with a tread pattern restored using Michelin Retread technology. It has operational properties comparable to those of new tires.
Long service life
This model is characterized by a long service life. The tread of its tire is made from a rubber compound that is resistant to both abrasive wear and mechanical damage. The tread pattern with five solid longitudinal ribs provides even distribution of the vehicle's weight and the cargo it carries across the contact area. This significantly slows down the wear rate, increasing the service life.
Excellent reliability
The tire features a two-layer tread. Its lower part, as well as the sidewalls, are made from a special rubber compound. It effectively protects the tire from punctures, cuts, and other mechanical damage.
Numerous lamellas
The longitudinal ribs in the central part of the tread contain a large number of narrow slots. The lamellas perform several functions. On wet pavement, they improve braking properties and resistance to aquaplaning, forming numerous edges that enhance grip and guide water to the drainage grooves. Additionally, they give the ribs some flexibility, reducing the level of abrasive impact on the tread, reducing its wear.
