Description Michelin XTE2+
The Michelin XTE2+ truck tire, like its predecessor, was specially designed for use on any axle of medium-duty trucks. It is beneficially distinguished by low operating costs, excellent traction and adhesion properties in any road and weather conditions, as well as a high level of reliability, despite the specifics of urban operation.
Low cost per kilometer
In the development of the Michelin XTE2+ model, French specialists paid special attention to ensuring low operating costs. To a large extent, this was achieved due to the rubber compound. Its composition includes a number of special components that significantly increased the durability of the tread, both to abrasive and uneven wear. Another factor that determined the long service life, and therefore low operating costs, was the increased tread depth.
It is also worth noting the low rolling resistance, which is a hallmark of most of this French brand's truck tire products. It is achieved due to the reduced number of individual tread elements, as well as the reinforced design of the shoulder areas.
Excellent grip on wet roads
Its high grip characteristics on low-grip coatings are due to two central longitudinal ribs. These tread elements are characterized by the presence of a large number of longitudinal and transverse lamellas, forming a multitude of small blocks. During movement, they form a large number of gripping edges, which provides the tire with stability and reliability when moving on slippery roads.
