The Michelin XSMD2+ industrial tire is designed for use on loaders in underground mining operations. It is characterized by high traction properties on smooth, hard surfaces, resistance to mechanical damage, and increased load capacity.
The tread of the tire has no pattern, with a completely smooth surface. This provides maximum contact between the tread and the surface, improving traction properties, especially on smooth, hard surfaces. The increased thickness of the tread, up to 78 mm, gives the tire a smooth ride and increases its durability. The tread is made of a special rubber compound that is exceptionally resistant to abrasive wear, punctures, cuts, and cracking.
