Description Michelin XDE2 Retread
The commercial tire Michelin XDE2 Retread is installed on the driving axle of heavy-duty trucks. It features a restored Michelin Retread tread pattern, which gives this model the same operational properties as new tires.
Excellent traction at any coefficient of adhesion
The tread pattern is distinguished by the presence of numerous sharp edges. They are formed by numerous small blocks, as well as S-shaped lamellae cut into them. This combination allows for effective implementation of traction effort on slippery surfaces.
Reinforced zones under the shoulders
Special reinforcements are located directly under the shoulder zones. They increase the deformation resistance of the tread edges. This significantly improves handling, stability of adhesion during longitudinal accelerations, and also slows down the wear rate due to optimization of load distribution in the contact area.
Key features of Michelin XDE2 Retread
- Michelin Retread technology provides characteristics comparable to new tires;
- the tread pattern is extremely effective on slippery surfaces;
- special reinforcements under the shoulder zones slow down wear, provide stability during longitudinal accelerations.
