The Michelin XDA2 Energy Retread commercial tire is designed for long-haul tractors and large-capacity trucks. It is installed on the drive axle. It represents a tire with a restored tread part. It is characterized by high traction on slippery roads from rain and snow, fuel efficiency, and high mileage.
The tread has an optimized profile, the shape of which significantly increases the contact patch, expanding it. This improves grip on dry pavement and reduces uneven wear. The tread pattern contains many blocks that provide effective transmission of traction to the road surface. Similar elements at the edges of the tread are made more massive, which increases resistance to uneven wear, improves grip during maneuvering, and provides higher traction and braking force on snow.
