The commercial tire Michelin X Works D2 is designed for high-capacity trucks and special equipment based on them. Developed for use on construction sites and asphalt roads. Installed on the driving axle. Characterized by increased traction on loose unstable surfaces, strength and resistance to wear.

The tread pattern has an open design with a V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves. Numerous blocks, forming high edges of a large area, allow for effective transmission of traction, especially on loose soil surfaces. The tread elements are arranged in a "chess" order in groups. This significantly increases the contact patch, improving traction on asphalt roads, reduces rolling resistance and prevents tread wear.
