Increased tread width

This was achieved through a series of changes to the carcass design, as well as a reduction in the width of the drainage grooves. In combination with other features of the tread, primarily the flat shape of its profile, this allowed for a significant improvement in several important operational qualities. First and foremost, it is the ability of the compound to intensely dissipate heat, which significantly reduces the heating of the tire, and with it, the rolling resistance. Additionally, the tread contains six longitudinal ribs of a continuous design, which also significantly reduces fuel consumption.
