Description Michelin X Energy XF
The Michelin X Energy XF cargo tire differs from other representatives of the X Energy line with very high load-carrying capacity indicators. They were achieved due to the use of advanced developments, in particular, the InfiniCoil technology. In addition, the beneficial differences of this model are fuel efficiency, durability, and excellent traction properties, which remain at a stable level throughout the entire service life.
High load-carrying capacity indicators
Depending on the speed of movement, the load-carrying capacity of this tire can reach 7.5 tons. This became possible thanks to the carcass, the design of which was "borrowed" from off-road cargo models. It is characterized by a double steel cord, as well as a double breaker made of nylon cord. Such a multi-layered structure is characterized by a very high carrying capacity, and in addition, increased resistance to deformation and mechanical stress, which significantly increases reliability during operation.
Excellent traction properties throughout the entire service life
Another characteristic feature of this tire is the increased size of the contact patch, which is partly due to the design of the carcass. In addition, its tread is distinguished by the presence of a large number of lamellas. The edges created by them provide the tire with high efficiency when braking. Due to the fact that the lamellas are cut through the entire depth of the tread, the traction properties remain at the initial level throughout the entire service life of the tire.
Main features of the Michelin X Energy XF tire
- exceptionally high load-carrying capacity indicators, thanks to the reinforced multi-layer design of the all-steel carcass;
- stability of traction properties throughout the entire service life of the tire, thanks to lamellas cut through the entire depth of the tread;
- a long service life is ensured by high resistance to uneven wear, as well as a wear-resistant rubber compound.
