Description Michelin X Energy Savergreen XF
The Michelin X Energy Savergreen XF truck tire is designed for use on the steering axles of trucks used in intercity and international transportation. The manufacturer positions the XF tire as a benchmark for fuel efficiency throughout its entire lifespan. When using this tire, you can save up to 520 liters of fuel over its entire service life.
Features of the Michelin X Energy Savergreen XF truck model
The key feature of the Michelin X Energy XF tire is the harmonious combination of outstanding fuel efficiency, good road grip, increased durability, and resistance to external influences. The use of the innovative "Infinicoil" technology in the tire has made it possible to reduce the thickness of the tire's structural elements, significantly increase the tire's contact patch, and also increase the maximum load on the axle by 500 kg compared to tires of the previous generation. To provide protection against sidewall impacts, the tire's sidewalls are reinforced with an additional layer of rubber. The new tread pattern design provides excellent tire handling and resistance to various aggressive influences.
The Michelin X Energy Savergreen XF tire carcass is reinforced with a steel cord, the steel thread of which is wound according to a special scheme. This contributes to the stabilization of the tread and limitation of its deformation that occurs during movement, which in turn led to an increase in the contact patch area and traction characteristics. The tire's rubber compound helps to reduce the temperature even in the most susceptible parts of the tire. In addition, the tire's rubber compound is one of the components of the set of measures aimed at reducing fuel consumption and increasing the service life.
