The Michelin Power Pure SC Radial motorcycle tire is designed for operation with prolonged exposure to high loads. It is characterized by a combination of improved traction in turns, stability of traction at high speed, and increased service life.
The tire, being designed for scooters, is produced using the "dual compound" technology, one of the few in its class. The tread area of the tire is divided into three roughly equal parts. The edges use an elastic rubber mixture, which improves traction at large scooter lean angles and on wet surfaces. The central part is made of a "hard" compound, which, during straight-line movement, gives stability to the traction properties, reducing rolling resistance and wear.
