The Michelin Pilot Power RS+ motorcycle tire is designed for sports bikes. Developed using technologies applied to road-racing tires, it stands out for its exceptional performance at extremely high speeds.

The tread of the tire is made from two rubber compounds. The shoulder areas, which account for about half of its surface area, are made from a more elastic compound. This increases stability when maneuvering. In addition to this, the central part of the rear tire's tread is used as a "base" for the shoulder areas. As a result, it becomes possible to "open up" when exiting a turn much earlier due to better stability of the traction properties.
