Description Michelin Omnibib
The Michelin Omnibib tire is designed for use in tractor equipment, equipped with a drive on one or all axles, with engines ranging from 70 to 180 horsepower. It is characterized by increased traction and adhesion properties on soils of any type at reduced surface pressure, and an extended service life.
The tread pattern of the tire consists of lug treads unfolded at a sharp angle with elongated curved walls. This design reduces rolling resistance and heat generation, providing excellent traction and resistance to lateral slippage on soil surfaces. Significant voids between the elements prevent the tread from "clogging", increasing the ability to overcome the most difficult areas. It is worth noting the profile of the tread. Its shape expands the contact patch, providing a more even pressure distribution on the surface, reducing it. This prevents damage to the topsoil and further increases the tire's wear resistance.
Key features of Michelin Omnibib
- the directional tread pattern with a V-shaped arrangement of block walls increases traction and stability on soil, reducing wear and rolling resistance;
- the reinforced carcass provides increased load capacity and the possibility of using the tire at high speeds;
- the increased contact patch minimizes the compaction of the top layer of soil
