Description Michelin B E2
The Michelin B E2 special tire is designed for wheel excavators, front loaders and other equipment used in a wide range of earthworks. It is distinguished by high traction and coupling properties on soft and medium-hard ground surfaces, load capacity and resistance to damage.
The tire tread is made of a rubber compound adapted to the specifics of operation on soft and medium-hard soils. This compound has increased elasticity, which, in combination with sufficiently flexible sidewalls, allows the tread to fit more closely to the surface, and also provides a smooth ride on unevenness. The tread pattern is made in a directional design and consists of separate blocks. The elements form continuous U-shaped edges, which provide high traction and stability on the ground. The increased voids between the blocks allow these properties to be maintained even on waterlogged earth and clay surfaces.
Key features of Michelin B E2
- a universal directional tread pattern with large voids between elements provides stable traction and coupling properties on earth and clay soils;
- an optimized tread profile, elastic sidewalls and a rubber compound improve passability, give the tire's ride additional smoothness;
- a carcass reinforced with steel cords increases the tire's load capacity, provides more reliable protection against damage
