Description Michelin XZ All Roads
The Michelin All Roads XZ line of commercial tires consists of two models – for all and driving axles. Both options have a long service life and reliability even on poor roads. In motion, these tires are distinguished by improved traction properties that do not change even under borderline operating conditions.
Tires in this line are characterized by high strength, which is provided by the reinforced carcass construction. It is supplemented by a five-layer breaker. Being located directly under the tread, this component provides reliable protection against mechanical damage and also optimizes the load distribution in the contact area with the road surface. As a result, high reliability is achieved, traction properties become more stable, and the risk of uneven wear is significantly reduced.
A special rubber compound is used in the manufacture of the tread. It is characterized by very high tensile strength and elongation, as well as increased thermal conductivity. As a result, in addition to improved traction properties, resistance to punctures, cuts, and abrasive wear is ensured.
The design of the tire sidewalls was "borrowed" from products intended for construction equipment. Reinforcement and the use of a special compound allowed for reliable protection of this extremely vulnerable area from any mechanical damage.
Main features of Michelin All Roads
- a five-layer breaker increases the tire's carrying capacity, prevents uneven wear, and gives traction additional stability;
- a special rubber compound is resistant to punctures, cuts, and abrasive wear, has increased thermal conductivity;
- the sidewall design is from tires for construction equipment.
