Description Michelin Agribib
Michelin Agribib — a radial tire specifically designed for tractors. The tire is distinguished by excellent traction characteristics, increased performance on loose and wet soil, and a long service life.
The use of an optimal rubber compound in the production of the tread has made it possible to increase wear resistance and durability. The tire's tread is self-cleaning, which maintains maximum traction even on wet soil. Vertical sharp lugs contribute to maintaining traction, even when the tread wear reaches 70%.
In addition to this, the tire improves the working conditions of the operator due to the special design of the tread blocks, which are arranged at an angle of 45 degrees. This ensures the best distribution of load on the surface, resulting in an exceptionally soft ride for agricultural equipment. The tire also increases the productivity of grain farms due to the increased contact patch, which allows for better pressure distribution on the soil surface.
Robust and sufficiently flexible sidewalls ensure that a large number of lugs are in direct contact with the soil, which means that lower pressure is used in Michelin Agribib tires. This, in turn, reduces soil compaction and increases crop yields. The increased tread depth by 20% (compared to the previous generation tire) provides the best traction properties, even when the tread depth is reduced due to wear.
Key features of the Michelin Agribib tire
- high traction force and increased wear resistance;
- increased contact patch;
- smooth ride of the equipment;
- minimal soil damage and compaction.
