According to the manufacturer's classification, this tire is designed for installation on the rear axle of a motorcycle. In addition, the K0 in the name means that the rubber compound belongs to the "super-soft" category, i.e. maximum grip characteristics are achieved at higher surface temperatures.
During the development of this model, several advanced technological solutions were applied, which ensured the tire's excellent performance.
In particular, the 0° Steel Radial technology was used, the name of which contains all its distinctive features. The term Steel Radial means that the basis of the tire's design is a steel frame. This somewhat unusual solution for a motorcycle tire made it possible to significantly reduce the weight while increasing resistance to dynamic deformation that occurs during movement. As a result, the Metzeler Racetec Interact K0 motorcycle tire demonstrates excellent stability in any conditions. Another feature of the steel metal cord is the longitudinal winding.
