Description Metzeler ME1
The Metzeler ME1 (tubeless) motorcycle tire is designed for low- and medium-powered scooters (engine displacement 50-250 cm3). German developers from Metzeler considered the most important criteria related to the specifics of this type of motorcycle. Original design solutions have ensured high popularity of this model among scooter owners.
The Metzeler ME1 tires are fully interchangeable (rear/front), available in two sizes: 3/50-R10 59J Reinf ME1; 90/90-R10 50J TL ME1. Speed index J (maximum 62 mph).
The possibility of replacing tires significantly increases the service life of the product, due to the installation of the rear tire, which is subject to faster wear, in place of the front one. The introduction of nylon threads into the tread structure increases resistance to wear and tear, as well as increased resistance to damage.
Soft rubber smoothes out bumps and vibrations caused by road irregularities, making the ride as comfortable as possible.
The tubeless version provides an advantage in terms of repairability and tire fitting, minimizing time costs.
The characteristic pattern of the low tread (without block separation, with radial-diagonal wide grooves) contributes to the accuracy and ease of handling, good traction with the road surface, as well as optimal dynamic speed characteristics.
A scooter with Metzeler ME1 tires confidently holds the road, both in the rhythm of city traffic and during long trips on intercity highways.
