Description Metzeler Enduro 2
The Metzeler Enduro 2 motorcycle tire is distinguished by its versatility of application. This model is perfectly suited for both fast movement on roads with solid surfaces and light off-road driving, especially on muddy and rocky types of terrain. Another characteristic feature is its applicability - this tire is designed for installation exclusively on the rear axle of the motorcycle.
This tire owes its excellent characteristics on various types of terrain to a large extent to the tread pattern, the aggressive design of which leaves no doubt about its exceptional abilities. The entire central part of the tread is occupied by huge triangular blocks, the uneven edges of which create a huge number of sharp angles and edges of adhesion. In combination with a large contact patch area, this configuration has made it possible to provide excellent traction and adhesion characteristics, both on solid surfaces and on earthy types of terrain. In addition, the massive size of the tread blocks, combined with their close arrangement, contributes to a reduction in noise, rolling resistance, and also has a beneficial effect on the even distribution of external load. The latter feature has endowed the tire with increased resistance to uneven wear, which, in turn, has extended its service life.
The lateral zones of the Metzeler Enduro 2 motorcycle tire tread can also boast numerous adhesion edges, which are arranged in different directions. These edges are formed by a large number of separate trapezoidal blocks. This design feature allows the tire to demonstrate excellent stability when cornering.
Another feature of this model is the rubber compound. Thanks to a whole range of new-generation components, the tire is distinguished by excellent wear resistance, even when used on roads with solid surfaces. At the same time, this feature is surprisingly combined with excellent adhesion on various types of terrain.
