Description Maxxis M6033
The Maxxis Dual Sport M6033 motorcycle tire is a somewhat controversial tire product. On the one hand, it has a relatively narrow scope of application, but on the other hand, it doesn't, because this model is equally effective on both highways and off-road. The fact is that it is designed for installation on the front wheel of touring motorcycles, so-called "crossovers". At the same time, the manufacturer recommends using this tire "in pair" with the M6034, which is designed for installation on the rear wheel.
Universal tread pattern
When developing this model, the specialists of the Asian company were largely focused on the specific features of operation outside of paved roads. That's why it looks so similar to the Maxxis M6033 motocross tires. Like them, its tread pattern contains a large number of small trapezoidal blocks. At the same time, they are spaced at a fairly small distance from each other. This feature provides this tire with good operating properties on the highway.
However, much greater efficiency is demonstrated by it on off-road. The numerous blocks are arranged in such a way that when in contact with the road, they form four longitudinal ribs, two of which are only engaged when the motorcycle is at significant angles of inclination, or when overcoming difficult sections.
Rubber compound resistant to any aggressive impact
A significant part of the universality of this model is ensured by the unique properties of the rubber compound of its tread. Thanks to a number of special components, it demonstrates excellent traction properties on wet roads, as well as increased resistance to abrasive wear, punctures, and cuts, which gives the tire high reliability when operating off-road.
