The Maxtrek SU-830 summer tire is designed for crossovers, SUVs, and light trucks that are mainly used on highways and city roads but can also handle gravel or dirt roads. The model represents a universal solution that combines high traction, wear resistance, and comfort.

The tread pattern is designed in a symmetrical style, featuring triangular blocks that form continuous longitudinal ribs in the center. This solution improves high-speed stability, reduces rolling resistance, and promotes even tread wear. The outer zones of the tread are equipped with massive shoulder blocks with additional traction edges, which improve handling and increase braking efficiency, especially on wet roads.

The drainage channel system effectively drains water, minimizing aquaplaning. Four wide longitudinal grooves in combination with transverse notches accelerate drainage and ensure reliable traction even in heavy rain. The carefully optimized tread profile also plays a role, evenly distributing pressure and preventing the formation of a water film under the entire contact patch of the tire.

The rubber compound is developed with the addition of active polymers and silicon dioxide, which increases elasticity at low temperatures and improves traction on wet asphalt. At the same time, this compound reduces friction and rolling resistance, positively affecting fuel efficiency.
