Description Matador TM1 Collos
The Matador TM1 Collos automotive tire, an original development by Russian tire manufacturers, is designed for installation on trailers. The model is recommended for summer use.
Considering the specifics of tire operation on the trailer axle, Slovak developers used a number of innovative technologies and original solutions when designing the Matador TM1 Collos tire. The design is equipped with a special all-steel cord, which provides high load-carrying capacity and burst strength.
The increased width of the working surface, as well as the specifics of the tread detailing, have a positive effect on the traction, dynamic and speed characteristics of the vehicle operating with a trailer. The use of original "floating" lamellas in the Matador TM1 Collos provides high directional stability and resistance to skidding and horizontal displacement of the trailer, which is extremely important when passing turns. The "floating" tread blocks have a strong influence on the stability of speed and dynamic characteristics when driving on roads with frequently changing surface relief, including those with poor road surface quality.
A dense network of wide drainage channels allows for the rapid removal of water from the contact zone with the road surface, as well as strong resistance to aquaplaning, slushplaning and lateral skidding. The wide channels are effectively cleaned during movement from adhering dirt.
The large contact area, as well as a specially selected rubber compound, guarantee optimal use of the engine's power characteristics. This is especially important when installing tires on long-size auto trailers.
The tread rubber is highly resistant to wear, which guarantees an increase in the service life of the product.
