Description Matador TH1 Titan
The Matador TH1 Titan truck tire was specifically designed for trailers and semi-trailers used in long-distance transportation. This model features an original design, perfectly adapted to the highest loads.
Durable carcass
The basis of the Matador TH1 Titan tire construction is a multi-layer carcass consisting of a double metal cord and four especially durable inserts made of a special rubber compound. This structure has provided the tire not only with high strength but also with the possibility of tread regeneration, which significantly extends its service life.
Highly efficient tread pattern design
A characteristic feature of the tread pattern of this tire is the presence of an increased number of longitudinal ribs in the central part. At the same time, all four ribs have the same dimensions and design, which is distinguished by the complete absence of any breaks throughout its length. Such a configuration of this tread area makes it very rigid, which ensures excellent directional stability. Additionally, in combination with massive sizes, it made it possible not only to maximally increase the contact patch but also to achieve a more even distribution of load across it, which contributed to an increase in carrying capacity. The reinforced design of the tread shoulder areas allowed for further improvement of all these advantages of the tire. Moreover, such a structure of the shoulder areas made it possible to significantly increase the tread's resistance to dynamic deformations and uneven wear, which had a very positive effect on the tire's service life.
Main features of Matador TH1 Titan
- The increased number of longitudinal ribs up to 6 allows the tire to demonstrate excellent directional stability and rolling resistance;
- The possibility of retreading the tread significantly extends the tire's service life;
- A large contact patch provides reliable traction in any conditions;
- 5 drainage grooves in the central part of the tread guarantee a high level of safety when driving even on very wet roads;
- Reinforced shoulder areas of the tread, due to a more even distribution of load, made it possible to significantly increase the tire's carrying capacity.
