Universality of application
To a large extent, this tire owes its remarkable abilities to its original tread pattern, which borrowed many solutions from models designed for special construction equipment. This refers to the tread structure, which does not have a clear division into central and shoulder zones. Additionally, the similarity with special tires is clearly visible in the presence of powerful tread blocks with zigzag edges, ensuring confident movement on sand and mud.
However, the Matador MP627 tire does not falter even on high-speed highways. Thanks to the high rigidity of the central part of the tread and the massiveness of the shoulder zone tread blocks, the tire's creators managed to significantly increase the contact patch area, thus ensuring stable and reliable traction on asphalt. To compensate for the noise generated by the large number of shoulder zone blocks, they were placed with a varying pitch relative to each other. This solution allowed for a significant reduction in the level of resonant noise and vibrations that occur when driving on solid surfaces.
Excellent off-road performance
This tire is perfectly adapted for driving off asphalt roads. To a large extent, this was achieved thanks to the large distance between the transversely arranged shoulder zone tread blocks. Additionally, the curved shape of the edges of these blocks should be noted. This allows for the most effective use of the traction force created by the powerful engines of cargo vehicles.
