The Matador MP317 cargo tire belongs to the so-called "regional" models, i.e. designed for transportation within a region. This tire is suitable for installation on any axle of trucks of different carrying capacities. The size range consists of two types - 10.00 R20 and 11.00 R20.
High efficiency in any conditions
Considering the possibility of operation throughout the year on roads of varying quality, the creators of this tire, Matador MP317, equipped it with a classic 5-rib tread pattern, featuring massive sizes of all its elements. At the same time, each of the five longitudinal ribs has the same size, which made the contact patch maximum, while ensuring even distribution of pressure on it. The latter circumstance led to a significant reduction in the likelihood of uneven wear development, which contributed to the extension of the tire's service life.
In addition, the five longitudinal ribs guarantee high directional stability. As a result, the tire demonstrates excellent and stable behavior when moving at high speed.
Confident behavior off paved roads
The shoulder areas of the tread, which are two rows of massive blocks, deserve separate mention. When driving off paved roads, these blocks work on the same principle as off-road tires, allowing for more confident overcoming of difficult sections.
Excellent fuel efficiency
The central part of the tread consists of three longitudinal ribs, each of which has a solid and very rigid structure. Thanks to this, it was possible to significantly reduce the rolling resistance, on which the fuel efficiency indicators directly depend.
