Central tread design
One of the main features of the Marshal LA11 tread pattern is the central design. It consists of three longitudinal ribs. The central one has a double structure, which provides high maneuverability. The other two longitudinal ribs contain a large number of S-shaped lamellas, which form a multitude of transverse edges. Due to them, the tire demonstrates excellent traction properties in the longitudinal direction.
Rigid shoulder areas
Unlike the central part, the shoulder areas of the tread pattern are solid structural elements, which makes them perfectly resistant to deformation. It should be noted that they have very massive sizes. Such a design of the shoulder areas makes the contact patch as large as possible, while its shape becomes almost rectangular, which has a very favorable effect on traction, carrying capacity, and durability.
Drainage grooves with "stone ejectors"
Between all the longitudinal ribs, there are wide and deep drainage grooves. Their volume is sufficient to ensure very fast and efficient water removal from the contact patch. It is also worth noting the presence of special elements on the bottom of the drainage grooves that are designed to remove stones and other foreign objects from the tread.
