Description Marshal KRS03+
The cargo tire Marshal KRS03+ differs from the virtually identical model without the "+" sign in the name only in the composition of the rubber mixture. It includes a whole range of special components that significantly increase the service life of the tire due to increased resistance to abrasive wear. In all other respects, both models are completely identical, being designed for installation on the steering axles of trucks and buses operating in the sphere of interregional transportation. In other words, this model represents a tire specifically designed for very long-distance and high-speed movement.
Five longitudinal ribs
Like most tires of this purpose, this model is equipped with a 5-rib tread pattern containing a sufficient number of gripping edges. This design provides the tire with a number of very important qualities. First of all, it is excellent directional stability and very high maneuverability, which greatly simplifies the process of controlling a heavy truck or bus.
Multiple lamellas
Another interesting feature of the tread pattern of this model is the presence of a large number of lamellas located on all longitudinal ribs without exception. At the same time, they are located not only transversely but also longitudinally, which significantly increases the stability and reliability of the Marshal KRS03+ tire behavior when moving at high speed. At the same time, transverse S-shaped grooves provide excellent traction in the longitudinal direction, which significantly improves the braking efficiency, especially on wet roads.
Wide shoulder zones
Unlike the three central longitudinal ribs, the shoulder zones of the tread have more massive dimensions. This is due to the desire to provide the largest possible contact patch size, which, in combination with the significant depth of the tread pattern, provides the tire with excellent traction and a very long service life.
Main features of the Marshal KRS03+ tire
- the tire is designed for installation on the steering axles of trucks and buses;
- a wide and very deep tread pattern provides the tire with excellent traction and a very long service life;
- the special shape of the walls and bottom of the drainage grooves allows the tread to very effectively get rid of stones and other solid objects that get into it.
