Description Marshal KRS02
The cargo tire Marshal KRS02, designed for installation on the steering axles of trucks, has a very wide range of applications. This is ensured by the presence of a rather extensive size range, which includes types for wheels with a landing diameter from 16 to 24 inches. In addition, this model is favorably distinguished by excellent operational characteristics, in particular, a very long service life, which, in combination with an attractive cost, makes it economically efficient.
Five-rib design of the tread pattern
One of the main features of the Marshal KRS02 tire is the tread pattern. It contains five longitudinal ribs separated by drainage grooves. At the same time, each of these tread elements has very high deformation resistance, thanks to which the tire demonstrates excellent directional stability and low rolling resistance.
Double central rib
In the center of the tread, there is a longitudinal rib, the design of which has a number of important differences. First of all, this is a double structure, which is more common on passenger tires. The main functional purpose of this tread element is to provide high maneuverability and stability when driving at high speeds. These properties significantly simplify the process of controlling the vehicle.
High braking efficiency
Despite the reduced number of tread elements, this model demonstrates good braking properties. They are provided by numerous S-shaped lamellas located on the surface of the longitudinal ribs in the central part of the tread. During movement, they form numerous sharp edges, thanks to which excellent traction is provided in the longitudinal direction.
Key features of the Marshal KRS02 tire
- a wide range of sizes, including types for wheels with a landing diameter from 16 to 24 inches;
- five longitudinal ribs improve directional stability and reduce rolling resistance;
- a double central rib increases maneuverability, giving the tire stability when driving at high speeds;
- a short braking distance thanks to numerous S-shaped lamellas;
- a reinforced design of the shoulder areas provides optimal distribution of external pressure over the contact patch, thereby increasing the resistance of the tread to uneven wear.
