Description Marshal KRD28
The Marshal KRD28 truck tire is designed for installation on the drive axles of trucks, which are used for interregional transportation. This model is characterized by excellent traction and adhesion properties in the longitudinal direction, which are provided by the open design of the tread pattern, containing a large number of individual blocks.
Six longitudinal ribs
The tread pattern of this model features six longitudinal ribs, composed of a multitude of individual blocks of a quadrangular shape. At the same time, their long edges are oriented parallel to the direction of movement, which gives the Marshal KRD28 tire several important advantages. First of all, these are excellent directional stability and low rolling resistance, which on the one hand facilitates the process of driving the vehicle, and on the other hand, allows reducing the cost of its operation.
A large number of gripping edges
As mentioned earlier, the tread pattern of this tire contains a multitude of individual blocks. During movement, they form a large number of gripping edges, located transversely. This allows the tire to demonstrate high efficiency, both during acceleration and braking. At the same time, the edges have a significant inclination relative to the direction of movement, which substantially reduces the level of noise generated by the multitude of individual elements.
Excellent grip on wet roads
The tread pattern of this design has another significant advantage, namely excellent resistance to aquaplaning. It is provided by the high performance of the drainage system, which consists of a multitude of grooves that run both along and across the tread. In addition, the surface of each block has a lamella, which during movement forms an additional gripping edge, due to which the tire demonstrates confident behavior on wet roads.
