The cargo tire Marshal KRD02 has a somewhat specific application area. Firstly, it is designed for installation on the driving axles of trucks and dump trucks, and secondly - for operation, both on asphalt and dirt roads. The versatility of this model is ensured by the reinforced design and tread pattern, which provides excellent traction on various types of surfaces.
5-rib design of the tread pattern
This model is equipped with the Marshal KRD02 tread pattern with a fairly original design, the distinctive feature of which is the two-way symmetrical arrangement of elements, representing four-sided blocks. At the same time, five longitudinal ribs are composed of them, thanks to which the tire demonstrates excellent directional stability, as well as reduced rolling resistance.
S-shaped lamellas
Another distinctive feature of this tire is the composite S-shaped lamellas, which are arranged transversely. During movement, they form numerous edges of very large extent, which easily penetrate the water film when driving on a wet road. As a result, excellent traction is ensured even in very unfavorable conditions.
Excellent traction properties off paved roads
As mentioned earlier, this model is distinguished by high performance not only on asphalt, but also on dirt roads. This is ensured by certain features of the tread pattern. In particular, it has a block structure, while all its individual elements are located at a fairly significant distance from each other. Due to this feature, the tread pattern is quite easily self-cleaning from adhering soil particles, thereby ensuring the stability of traction properties on earth and sandy surfaces.
