Description Marshal KFD04
The Marshal KFD04 truck tire is favorably distinguished by its universal scope of application, as it is equally well suited for operation on both asphalt roads and off-road, i.e. on rough terrain. The manufacturer recommends installing this model on the driving axles of trucks engaged in construction and logging, such as dump trucks and concrete mixers.
Increased mileage
One of the distinguishing features of this model is its very long service life. This is largely due to the original tread pattern. It consists of a large number of individual blocks, which form three very wide longitudinal ribs. Due to this, as well as the flat tread profile, it was possible to maximize the size of the contact patch. At the same time, the high stiffness of the tread blocks made it possible to give it a practically rectangular shape, which, in turn, led to the optimization of the distribution of external pressure. As a result, the Marshal KFD04 tire demonstrates very stable and reliable behavior on any surface, as well as very high resistance to uneven wear, which significantly increased its service life.
High traction and coupling properties in the longitudinal direction
As mentioned earlier, this model is equipped with a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, consisting of many massive blocks. They have a complex polygonal configuration, characterized by the presence of very extended edges. A significant part of them is located transversely, which, in combination with the great depth of the tread pattern, provides the tire with excellent traction and coupling properties in the longitudinal direction, especially on sandy and earthy soils.
Key features of the Marshal KFD04 tire
- the tire is designed for installation on the driving axles of trucks engaged in construction and logging;
- the optimized symmetrical non-directional tread pattern provides excellent grip on almost any type of surface;
- three longitudinal ribs, composed of massive blocks, maximize the traction and coupling properties in the longitudinal direction due to the formed transverse edges of the grip;
- large distance between blocks, thanks to which the tread is perfectly cleaned of stones and soil particles, ensuring the constancy of the grip properties on rough terrain;
- very long service life of the tread due to its significant depth, wear-resistant rubber compound, and uniform distribution of external pressure over the contact patch.
