The cargo tire LingLong LMB3, specially designed for light trucks and vans, boasts a rather wide range of applications. Firstly, this is due to a thoughtful approach to forming a size range, which, despite a very small number of sizes, provides the possibility of installing this model on almost any modern small-capacity commercial vehicle. Secondly, this model is equipped with a universal tread pattern, thanks to which it demonstrates excellent traction, both on summer and winter roads. Moreover, it is impossible not to note the fairly attractive cost of this tire, which, in combination with a long service life, makes its operation even more economically justified.
Increased number of traction edges
As mentioned earlier, the LingLong LMB3 model is equipped with a tread pattern with universal characteristics. It features an original symmetrical non-directional design containing a large number of traction edges. These are created by numerous polygonal blocks and lugs located on the surface of each of them. Thanks to them, the tire demonstrates excellent traction properties in any weather conditions.
Course stability
Another characteristic feature of this tread pattern is the arrangement of blocks. Five longitudinal ribs are formed from them - three are located in the central part, and two are shoulder zones. This design provides the tire with excellent course stability and also contributes to reducing rolling resistance.
Reinforced shoulder area design
In contrast to the central part of the tread, where the blocks have a triangular shape, the shoulder zones consist of separate trapezoidal elements that are more massive in size. This combination allows significantly increasing the width of the contact patch and optimizing the distribution of external pressure on it, which, in turn, improves handling and increases resistance to uneven wear.
Main features of the LingLong LMB3 tire
- versatility of application due to a well-chosen size range and the possibility of operation throughout the year;
- excellent traction properties on wet, snowy, and icy roads due to the open design of the tread pattern, which contains a large number of traction edges;
- low rolling resistance, excellent course stability, and high resistance to uneven wear due to the five longitudinal ribs.
